GBI 3SM
Galix GBI-3SM Digital 3-Channel Holter Recorder

The GBI-3SM Digital Holter Recorder stores, on a memory card, continuous recordings of a patient's electrocardiogram, for a 24/48 or 72-hour period. The recording is not really a form of continuous monitoring in the sense that the signal is not available immediately. The ECG data is stored in a conventional Secure Digital (SD) Memory Card. The recording is a representation of past events which permits a detailed "off-line" analysis of them at a later time. This analysis is performed with the WinTer Holter Analyzer. This unit performs either the 24/48 hour Holter recording at a sampling rate of 256 or 1000 samples per second (V.H.R.ECG) for further Ventricular Late Potential Analysis. The GBI-3SM recorder is one of the most reliable portable units of the market.

ECG/ERGO Measurement Module
Complete analysis of the ECG signal

This module consists of four main screens, each of which enables different actions. These screens are:
  • Standard measurement screen.
  • Beat comparison screen
  • Manual measurement screen
  • Measurement table screen

The standard measurement screen shows all the measurements that are automatically performed by the program on each of the 12 leads.

The beat comparison screen is used to compare the morphology of two beats, allowing the user to measure differences in time and amplitude between them.

By means of the manual measurement screen the user can measure amplitude and time intervals in any of the 12 leads.

The measurement table allows a quick visualization of the all the values of the different measurements performed for each of the 12 leads .

For a more detailed explanation download our "Measurement Module Demo and/or the Operation Manual" on the Downloads section.

Galix 12-Lead Computerized ECG Software

This software package allows real-time viewing of the 12-Lead ECG, allowing the user to modify to an individual channel the amplitude, color and label, to change the sweep speed of the capture screen to 25,50,100mm/s. Also has the ability to use calipers to perform time/interval and amplitude measurements, while data is being captured. Furthermore the user can enable/disable muscular and baseline digital filters with one click, to view on-screen Heart-Rate in HR(bpm) or RR(ms), to switch and modify any lead configuration during acquisition, and to store thousands of ECG records. *The 12-Lead ECG software is part of the ECG-PS Kit.

All ECG registries may be stored in a PC hard disk for further revision. These exams will form an ECG database that includes all commands for each patient, such as: Add, Delete, Search, etc. Due to the high detailed screen resolution and sampling rate, the system will allow full morphological analysis. The attendant is able to obtain time and amplitude measurements with cursors in the screen besides the automatic measurement capacity of the software.

The software will present computerized normal ECG Studies.
The GALIX ECG-PS will operate under Windows 98 or greater. Below are some of the characteristics of the program:
. Simultaneous monitoring and printing of standard 12 lead ECG or lead combinations pre
selected by the attendant

. Different selectable presentation formats

. Selectable Amplitude Scales (5, 10 or 20 mm/mV)

. Selectable Scan Rates ( 25, 50 or 100mm/s)

. Heart Rate measurements in the 30-240 bpm range

. Automatic selection of J Point and ST segment

. Time and amplitude measurements by cursors in the screen

WinTer
Galix Computerized Stress-Test Software

The ERGO-PS is a software package designed to provide the cardiologist with an on-screen visualization of the acquired channels, control remote peripherals such as a treadmill, exercise bike, perform the exam using pre-defined protocols such as: Astrand, Naughton, Bruce, Balke, Ellestad; or using protocols defined by the user. Visual configuration is completely user-defined, channels can be arbitrarily adjusted for amplitude and color. Sweep speed, muscle and baseline filters just to name a few of the additonal features provided by this package. While providing the general functionalities of the computerized ECG software, such as an almost-unlimited database, it offers extended features like a state-of-the-art complete report generator. *The Stress-Test software is part of the ECG-PS Kit.

The screen will display different stages (speed, elevation or load), time elapsed, suggestions and warning messages to guide the attendant. During the exam an automatic register at each stage will record 10-second ECG Strips, Heart Rate, ST segment and ST slope. All information is presented at the final exam printout.

In addition to the standard printouts available to the ECG-PS, the final exam printout will include the following information:
. Demographic Patient Information
. Table presenting for each stage: duration, load, heart rate, systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, mean pressure, tension-time index and comments.
. ECG tracings and ST segment trends.
. Many other new features included in a very complete report generator.

The user has full control of peripherals such as an exercise treadmill or bicycle. The complete Stress Test exam may be stored in the PC Hard disk. Individually these are identified for future retrieval and further analysis. The number of studies stored is limited only by the capacity of the PC's hard disk.

The GALIX Poligraph w/ stimulator is a built-in multiprogrammable cardiac electrophysiological (EP) stimulator, which offers invasive cardiac stimulation, extrastimulation for electrophysiological studies, tachycardia termination and cardiac parameters monitoring.

As a pulse generator for transitory pacing the GALIX Poligraph w/ stimulator delivers pulses at rates from 30 to 150 ppm and has the following modes:

- Asynchronous (AOO)
- Demand (AAI)

Pulse Rate, Pulse Amplitude, Pulse Width, Sensitivity and Refractory Period can be programmed to achieve the highest pacing performance. The Poligraph w/ stimulator also has a special function for high rate asynchronous pacing at rates from 120 to 600 ppm (Overdriving). Two keys (STIM and STANDBY)starts and stops the stimulation.

As a cardiac termination device, the Poligraph w/ stimulator offers two methods of delivering extrastimuli, which are easily accessed by pressing the TACHY key. In the Orthorhythmic Pulse Bursts method, the external stimuli are synchronized to the sensed spontaneous depolarizations at intervals, which are 80% or 90% of the cycle length of the tachycardia. The second method is the Non-Orthorhythmic Scanning algorithm. In this case the stimuli are arranged in bursts characterized by the Initial Delay between the first burst and the sensed spontaneous depolarization, the Coupled Delay between pulses, and the number of pulses per burst.

The GALIX Poligraph w/ stimulator has an exclusive design based on a microcontroller at the heart of low-power consumption architecture for control and stimulation. This design permits excellent accuracy and flexible operation. A Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) and a membrane keyboard provide the interface between the system and the physician. The 4-line x 40-char LCD allows fast and simultaneous reading of all important data. The 43-key membrane keyboard with direct access to most functions makes the operation simpler .

A list of some applications of the GALIX Poligraph w/ stimulator is shown below:

. Transitory Atrial Pacing of patients with sinus arrhythmia and normal A-V conduction.

. Measurement of atrial electrophysiologic response (refractoriness, SNRT, and so on).

. Evaluation of the ventricular response in patients with WPW syndrome.

. Measurement of Wenckebach block frequency.

. Sinus Node Overdriving.

. Initiation of reentrant tachyarrhythmia.

. Tachycardia detection with optical and acoustic indicators.

. Tachycardia termination with the Pulse Burst Method - Orthorhythmic.

. Tachycardia termination with the Scanning Method - non orthorhythmic.

. Tachycardia termination with the Overdriving Method.

. Management of patient with automatic implantable cardioverter/defibrillator (AICD).
